Guidelines for Indian nationals seeking work in Malaysia

The process for Malaysian companies to engage Indian nationals as been revised.

Changes include:

1. Employment Contracts have to be in a new format

2. The High Commission has to attest each Employment Contract before the Malaysian company sends it to the Protector of Emigrants in the relevant local area in India to obtain the ‘No Objection Certificate' which gives permission to leave India for employment in Malaysia.
