Job offer!!

Post new topic

Packingup

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, my husband was offered a job with Abro in portharcourt I was just looking of someone who know of this company or works for them to give us so more advice. We are from Canada and have no children so taking the one year contract is not the problem we just cannot find a lot online about them or how work life actually is for people who work there.

Thanks,

Sasha

Hi Sasha, I think being able to travel to Africa to work and live as an expat is not only challenging but truly an experience. I lived in Nigeria from 2001 - 2004 and have been in and out for the last 6 years but moved back to Lagos in 2011.  I think Nigeria is truly a love / hate place - you will either love it or hate it.  I know that Port Harcourt is not as a busy place as Lagos so therefore I do not enjoy it there but I do enjoy Lagos even with its hussle and bussle.  If you need me to answer some specific questions be sure to inbox me and I will answer as much as I can.
wishing you well in your move.
Kind regards
Jeanine
