Wife sponsoring husband a dependancy visa

Post new topic

Hi,

I (wife) work in a private company as an accountant for an AED 6000 salary without any accommodation. My husband has a business in India and works remotely from his laptop (he doesn't take any salary from his company in India, the profit is withdrawn directly to his bank account in india).

With my salary, can I sponsor my husband on a residency visa here in the UAE? He had TB 4 years ago and has a scar on his lungs visible on the x-ray, but I read that for a dependency visa, this is NOT an issue. Salary criteria I am confused because in some official websites it says 8000+accomodation or 10k AED salary is required for a wife to sponsor the Husband (for husband sponsoring wife, it says only needs 4k salary). But some websites say only 4k is required even for wife sponsoring husband (also mentions some job titles).

My husband will work for his clients in India via online from UAE but will NOT be taking any salary-based job here in UAE and also will NOT do any business in UAE. His business is completely in India without any clients or relations in UAE.

Thanks in Advance

@Sachitgianchandani Hi, Can you pelase reply on the below questions:

1) Are you doing any kind of work or business here after getting the visa?

2) How was the medical examination for this dependency visa? Did you have to do a sputum test or just x-ray for TB?

3) What are other processes after getting visa like monthly doctor visit or something required? I know the validity is just 1 year always.

4) Any other restriction placed just because you got the visa with TB scar?
