Penalty for no marbete

Try another issuing office..... not BanReservas and see if they accept it

Looks like the fine is 2,000 RD each time they fine you and you must immediately renew. 

They can and will take your vehicle if you continue.  Do you have residency?  You also risk driving without a valid license honey at some point.

Or try a different teller, or have a friend try as well.  So many people have succeeded after initially being refused, and nothing changed, other than the day of the week or the person in the bank.

@ratzoritzo is their anyone that can text you your original ... Opitimar eyewear makes copies from cel phones ... four months is a long time to be worried about getting stipped ... Good luck

i would have someone fedex and fo the right way. we all know how things run here!

If you can't have someone send you a better image to print, take the copy you have to a print shop and see if they can darken the copy.

And as others have said, see if you can try another place that will accept the copy you have.

In reading the rules it actually states the copy must be legible. Find someone with good eyes!

I had someone do mine for me with just a picture of it  I sent to their phone and they went to BANRESERVAS 

Took bus to Puerta Plata after Banreservas told me I could get copy from them at License bureau. Didnt happen. Told I need to take ad out in newspaper and alert police and apply for a new original title. All because the copy that worked last year had faded like an old mimeograph( for those that remember them in school)

Someone replied that I could be fined 2000p  for no marbete and also that I could be fined more than once. Is that a fact?

That is a fact. Every single time you drive without a marbete you can be fined. I will assume they will eventually take your vehicle off the road!
