Working Holiday Visa or other option to be reunited with Aussie???

Last year I met an English boy on holidays and in June year this we met again and travelled together as a couple.

He would like to come to Australia in October to be with me and we are trying to work out what the best visa option is as he doesn't have the skills or trade experience necessary to enter on the ‘wanted’ list.

From our research it appears that the Working Holiday Visa is the best option to gain immediate entry into Australia. I also understand there is the prospect to extend the visa by completing three months of regional work.

Should the relationship progress the way we both intend; is there a better option during the first year than to be separated for the regional work such as applying for a partner visa? Are we eligible to apply for that, say in June following the 12 months since the official commencement of our relationship whilst he is in Australia?

Also is their a bridging visa, that could be used?

Any information is appreciated!!

Thank you in advance!!

Thank you for the reply!!

We have looked into the partner visa but we obviously haven't been together for the 1 year for them to even look at us.

What we are thinking is my bf will do his 1 year working visa and not apply for it to be extended so he avoids doing the regional work. Then we were thinking that he might have to apply for a partner visa offshore and he'll wait for it to be approved whilst back home in the UK. I was looking at the bridging visa and from what I understand he would remain on his working holiday visa for bridging period. I'm not sure if during this period he would have to do the regional work as required to obtain a second year working holiday visa.

Thank you for your help!!!
