NZ job offer, real or fake ?
Hi all
Got few calls and few emails from the following named company for a job opportunity in NZ
Kindly help me to find this is real or fake
Andrew Young
INFRATIL NZ
PO Box 320, 5 Market Lane
Wellington 6140
They are going to send the job offer letter and i am doubtful about their move
Pls help
Many thanks
What type of job.
Did you apply for a job with them.
Infratil is a financial investment company.
Let us know what the offer letter says.
If they ask for you to pay any money for anything, then it is a scam.
Many thanks for the reply
job offer came to my husband and it’s for the internal audit manager (my husband’s career)
he can’t remember applying there.
and we got the offer letter today and there is no any money request yet. They have quoted total NZD 18000 per month after taxes and it’s a normal offer letter
they have asked to sign it and send them to processing further
also they require,
- scan copy of original passport
- certificate copies
- photos
the doubt is we got only one short interview phone call and it was just to ask about his experience for few minutes
we are in a doubt is it this much easy to get a job from newzealand without having a proper interview procedure
what do you think about this pls
thanks in advance
@sadeesha fernando
Hi ,
I am Mudra
My husband received the same letter from the same company and same salary but for the position of Finance manager. I am very confused too because they did not conduct interview. I can't understand if it is fake or genuine
Hi sadeesha!
I too have received couple of mail regarding the position Accounts and Finance.
I have replied them with the application form duly filled from my end.
They are further processing and maybe screening. I will update you on this once I have any further communication with them. Please do inform in case you also have any further update.
Thanks...
Hello all,
But if no proper interview was conducted, it's most probably a scam....
Perhaps they are going to ask for money later on.

Thanking you.
@sadeesha fernando I have also got the offer letter with designation as Finance and Accounts Manager. Subsequently, have also received calls from a person claiming Andrew. Let's hope is not fake as they didn't ask for any single penny. Also they said they will soon start process of immigration from NZ government and once they are done they will contact me with further communication.

-@deepnasomani
Anyone that submitted documents has left themselves open to identity theft.

Hi, I'm living in New Zealand, and am a Kiwi by birth (New Zealander). I'll help where possible. If the company is asking for fees, don't pay. Work visas/sponsorship are covered by the employer. It is not practice for companies to request funds. Does he say which company he represents or any further details. I can check for you if you like.
seems a big fake , I have reached the director of the company over LinkedIn let wait fro reply
Hello Sreenatha,

Fake, Fake and Fake . Do not put your single penny as I have confirmed and verified from the company. They have not issued any offer letter from the company and rather seems like a scamster
Dear all if you recived an offer letter from Andrew Young
INFRATIL NZ
PO Box 320, 5 Market Lane
Wellington 6140
It is totally fake and you can check the same in Company website under scam alert.
Another quick note is that, in NZ, we talk about either hourly pay or annual salary (IT professionals may, on occasion, talk about weekly rate, but very rare). Any pay discussed as the monthly pay just isn't the NZ way, so straight away says scam.
It should always be an hourly rate or annual.
Hi i received job offer from horse continental . Wanted to know is there any company by that name , any information would be much appreciated
Any one aware of horse continental in new Zealand
-@ramesh palani
I have. They share a telephone number with Felin oil and gas, BP, and a bunch of other companies.
I'll bet you think the random email asking for cash is a real job offer.
Now to a discussion about how your rubbish educational system failed you and thousands of your countrymen.
