Is Medellín Still the City of Eternal Spring?

A quarter century after the death of the infamous Pablo Escobar, Medellín has blossomed as a place that welcomes Expats, digital nomads and tourists.

Some say, however, that global warming, vehicular traffic and tremendous population growth have literally heated the city up, that it's no longer accurate to call Medellín the city of eternal spring.

Have you visited or lived in the Paisa capital? What's your opinion about Medellín/Aburrá Valley and its climate(s)?

Yes I lived there my wife is a Paisa and most of her family is from there, but after 3 months I had enough of getting stuck in traffic everywhere you go anytime of the day, pollution and the cost of living is not the same as Caldas or Quindio and there is no Pollution out here also you dont get stuck in traffic everytime you want to go somewhere
Medellin for me now will be for short visits only.

I arrived to Bogota in Sept 2009.........could not handle the cold and rainy weather......left Bogota and came to Medellin in June 2011....been here since............except for 15 months in Popayan...........Best weather of any comparable large city in Colombia....Lives up to its name ¨City with the Eternal Springtime¨ year round!!
