Transfer money from Colombia to the UK

I am not actually living in Colombia but a family member is looking to sale a property we own there and we would need to transfer the money to the UK. Any idea how to do that?

I am hearing doing it using a bank will be expensive.

@borzoj It partially depends on the amount and where the funds are currently located. Where are the funds now... in a regular bank like Bancolombia, or a brokerage like Alianza Valores?

The property is adevrtised byt not sold yet. I am just trying to work out how to do it. The amount will be around four hundred million peso

Hope you filled out a formulario 4 or 5 ( as applicable) when you brought money in to buy the hose  otherwise you will have a hell of a time getting the money out of rhe country
