Temporary Visa application processing times

Good day,

Although I'm a Colombian citizen, I have lived in the USA all of my life -- our parents emigrated when I was eight years old. I still speak Spanish like a native and I understand the Spanish spoken in Chile is very similiar to the Spanish my father spoke.

I have submitted my retirement visa request to Chile, and feels like I have been waiting forever for an answer, Can anyone confirm the amount of time it's taking to hear if you have qualified for a temporary visa?
