Do any of you know what areas offer practioners in the health and wellness area?  I assume the larger cities would be a possibility.

So let's see if I get what you are asking. where are health practitioners? or are health practitioners able to work in Mexico.

First answer , yes there are many health practitioners, but as in any other country it's best to get some referrals. I would advise avoiding practitioners in very small cities. Here there are many excellent doctors in Merida. T.J is loaded with specialty clinics. Some are as good or better than the U.S.

If you are a health care person you would have to jump through the governmental hoops to start your business.

Yes, there are doctors and doctor specialists throughout Mexico.

The country is not a foreign planet.

There are also non-traditional doctors such as Chinese medicine specialists, homeopathic doctors, and herbalists.
