To qualify for Retirement Visa for Mexico!

Nomadic

I can't find two people giving me the same conditions to qualify for Retirement Visa for Mexico!

I wouldn’t ask people unless they went through the process. My best and correct info is from my Mexican consulate in the city I reside. I used to see this too. Varying confusing opinions on getting a Mexican visa to retire there. Go online and all the info is there at least at my consulate here in Canada.

That is because the requirements vary at every consulate. Maddening and confusing. The best option is to contact your nearest consulate. In my case, I emailed them, as they did not accept calls. They responded quickly and politely, and we took it from there.  Their website should tell you what you need. Gather what you need, if you have questions they should answer you [they did with me, but it was email only, no phone]. Once you have everything gathered [bank statements, whatever else they require], make an appointment, mine took about 10 minutes, as they had already done the background and financial checks. I was already approved, as you have to supply bank statements and personal and passport info online to them before the appointment, which in my case was just a formality, as I was already approved. That's what I did and that worked easily for me and I got my permanent residency visa with no problems. I hope yours is as easy. It's great living here!
