Hi everyone,

I’m currently researching the Skilled Migration Australia program and would like to understand how long the process is taking for recent applicants.

Specifically, I’m interested in:

The time between receiving an invitation and visa approval

Whether state nomination affected the processing time

Differences, if any, between subclass 189, 190, and 491

Background Research:

I have reviewed the official information available on the Department of Home Affairs website and checked the published processing time ranges. However, these timelines are quite general and don’t clearly reflect individual cases. I have also searched through older forum posts, but most experiences shared are from previous years and may no longer be accurate.

I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has applied recently and can share their experience or timeline.
