Accommodation in DQ

Hello everyone!

So happy to have found this community.

I am a 23-year old woman from Sweden and I will be moving to Riyadh for work in the DQ. I am now trying to look at the apartment prices, cost of living, etc in the DQ.

1. What does it cost approximately to live in a 1-2 room western-style apartment in the DQ?
2. What is the cost of living for a single person in Riyadh and in the area?
3. Would you recommend me any specific area/compounds/rental company?

Good to hear and welcome in anticipation i riyadh.
.
As u are coming here to work in DQ . There are several residential compounds there in DQ. I don't if you have been offered accomodation there or not.
.
Else here are many western compounds here in riyadh. The pricing offcourse depends upon location , facilities and other factors. Its range between 70k to 300k Saudi riyal per year , again depends .. vary from compound to compound..

I would recommend you to stay in diplomatic quaters it self .. as its more secure and will easy for you. Also as u will be new so better if your accomodation near to work place.
