health insurance

Hi everyone, I don't know if anyone knows the answer, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

We will have health care taken care of for our family due to my husband's job, but if I bring my mom for a visit and she needs health care is there a separate insurance I can buy locally?  Anyone know anything about this topic even about how much we're looking at and what is and isn't covered, website, name of company etc.?

thanks

In my husband's contract it says that health insurance is available for him and for his eligible dependents which is him, me, and our children. I don't understand how she can be treated on his insurance. Is this just how it is despite the contract language?
She can be treated as far as she is with you here on visitation, she can benefit from his health insurance
jazaakillah khayr. I am so amazed...
