Hi there!
I have recently moved to Doha and would like to make some new friends. I was wondering if there is some kind of social group where people speak English that go on day trips, hikes, nights out etc? weekends would be great . I'm a friendly, sociable in my twenties and would like to hang out with people in a similar situation. please feel free to contact me

Hey ash, enjoy ur stay in Doha. you might wanna check out Qatar expats group on meetup.com. They organize lots of activities almost every weekend and weekly gatherings almost every wednesday if you like that sort of thing. Contact me if u have any question about that. cheers!
