Resigned 60 days ago (but company wants 1 more month extension)

Road Mercenary

I already resigned 60 days ago, now technically it reaches 70 days and one of my colleges who also submitted resignation ahead of me has been taken to the HR and told to extend for another 1 month because of lack of personnel to fill-in the jobs making it 90 days total after resignation has submitted.

In my case, I haven't received any calls from the HR after 60 days grace period. After I followed up, they told me to rewrite my Resignation because they thought it was misplaced but they said just put the same date on the original resignation date. Now I'm still waiting for the feedback if I can go home or if they will ask me to extend 1 more month due to lack of personnel.

Any advise how to counter act such negligence of the HR would be very much appreciated, because I assume I will be the next one to be taken to the HR. Please help.. Thank you!

In this situation if you have resigned and acknowledged by the Management not HR then mutually it can be compromised, If you still believe that as per the company Policy you have submitted the resignation before the end of contract or in the middle of the tenure or QID still valid for few more Months then employer can utilized and ask for extension. Its not HR decision to extend as the Power of the Employer is Management.

Still if you consider that you are the next who they will ask for extension then kindly acknowledge a confirmation through email. And if the Management is asking to rewrite a resignation letter again then while signing the letter to mentioning the original date please scan and email as the proof
