Regarding - degree certificate verification and salary

Dear all,

im chandru from chennai, India. recently i got selected for a lecturer job in sultanate of oman through consultancy, my specialization is B.Tech (ECE).,mtech (VLSI and Embedded System Engineering - ECE) and Ph.d ( Interdisciplinary of ECE/EEE) . after completion of M.tech i have 7 year of teaching experience till now. after Phd 1 year. i would like to know about some information

1. for my experience how much salary they will offer?

2. im from chennai, India from where i need to get degree certificate verification?

3. till now i get only provisionally selected mail and they asked some documents regarding my resume in word document, passport copy, passport size photo, degree certificate and experience certificate scanned copy etc., then i dint get any mail from them... what will be the next procedure?

please anyone guide me regarding this...... it will be very helpful for me....

Hi Drchandru85,

The salary would vary from institution to institution. More so in a place like Oman, where these are not very structured or regularised.

Usually from the time of the interview till the time of getting the employment visa, there are multiple approvals and clearances that the employer / sponsor would have to take. That would take some time. If you really need to know the complete details, please read all about it in the forum.

There are many places who will help you with the attestation of your documents. Searching online would give you the needed leads.
