Name miss match in Passport and Marriage certificate

In my Passport I don't have surname , I have only first and second name, but in may marriage certificate I have both first and second name along with  surname ( Initial). Will it will be a problem while applying for family visa?

I have a similar problem. I have one name on the first page. However, the rest of the names, the middle name and the surname, are indicated on the last page of the Indian Passport. I have resided in a few countries and never had issues, provided your full name is displayed on either the first or the last page.

I don't think this should be a problem when you have two names to verify.

-@fzamdkbm  you can always check with the police for updated procedures

but last time we took an undertaking from the concerned embassy stating the person holding the passport and ID is the same and the undertaking shall state all your ID and passport details.

also same can be provided by the embassy for dependents stating that these are your family members and have a relation with you.

these undertakings can be submitted along with the visa application if the police request.

No its not a problem. Since both your first name & second name is on the certificate, any additional surname has not issues.
