NOC requirement update Oct 2022

AGR1403

Hello there everyone,

Any updates on the NOC requirement currently? I complete 6 years of my contract (residence card valid for two years expires on 28th of November 2022). I plan to resign on the 28th of October 2022 with a month's notice to my current company. Will I still require an NOC to switch? As per the rules prevalent currently, I presume no such requirement exists if I complete the contract period. The new employer is a competitor to the current one and has clearly mentioned to me that they shall not require an NOC due to their contacts at the Ministry, however, would still like to know your views as my current company has no growth prospects but my job here is nevertheless safe for atleast the next two years. Is it worth taking the plunge and switching to the new employer which has offered better benefits and remuneration?

Would also like to know if I have a bank loan, can I transfer my loan as I wont be leaving the country as the new employer has promised an internal transfer.
