Other ways to cancel work visa?

oshimarunoru

Good day everyone. I would like to ask on what other ways can a work visa be canceled?

I already finished my 30 day resignation notice and got my resignation letter stamped by my old employer. However, when they are about to process the mobility, they discovered that they lost access and the owner needs to go to LMRA for it but he is currently on a business trip in Dubai and may or may not return next week.

The main problem is that my supposed-to-be new employer needs my old work visa to be up for transfer or canceled ASAP so that I can start with them next month.

I read some articles here and would like to confirm if I can do this — If employer is not allowing you to leave: Resign via registered mail and retain the pink slip.  Go to LMRA and get mobility without consent if you have worked with the current employer for more than 1 year.  If less than one year, you can still use this notice to push for visa cancellation through coordination with LMRA and MOL.

I do hope that you can help me guys. I do want to work with my new employer ASAP too. Thank you.

Your old employer needs to cancel or transfer your visa.  They are not saying no and it is just a factor of time.  LMRA will not cancel your visa without an MOL or court order or employer consent.   So nothing you can do except wait.

Good day, how about this form? Can I have them fill it up? I'm rushing the process since my new employer needs to process my visa with them by Wednesday. https://lmra.bh/portal/files/cms/downloads/english_attachment/Termination_Declaration(LMRA-QFM-009-06-01).pdf

I don't think you are understanding.  Termination of the visa can be through the system (this exact form is uploaded) or by submitting the form at the counter.  In BOTH cases, the request can ONLY be filed by the registered "Responsible" or "Authorized" person.
