Driving on visit visa with valid driving licence

Hello

Please help to know the ruling on driving personal car ( not rent a car) on visit visa with valid bahrain driving licence .

Should not be a problem but in case you have an accident, insurance might create issues as you are not a resident or have a CPR.

Thanks for the reply… have a valid CPR and valid bahrain licence but does not have a valid resident visa

You didn't mention if your car is registered in Bahrain i.e. has Bahrain number plate?

Yes the car is registered in bahrain however it’s in my father name . Currently on visit visa , used to work earlier in bahrain

That is what I meant by insurance. Check if your insurance covers outside of the owner or his legally resident family.

Under visit visa no chance to renew your license. Your work/investor visa status should be valid.
