Using Etsy to sell handmade items

I live in Bahrain and my hobby is crafting. I'm looking to sell my handmade items through Etsy but I'm finding the packing and shipping process very complicated. Which courier or mail service should I use and how do I estimate the shipping cost? Where do I get the packing material and should I pack it myself?
Does anyone else have experience using Etsy from Bahrain?

I had a bad experience with ESTY, the item never got delivered and their support did not respond well as well, it was a very small amount so did not bother much
