Exiting Bahrain - children visa under proicess

rossmonkhouse

Hi all,

I will be travelling to the UK soon with my twins that are 6 months old.

The visa (s) are in process but will not be ready in time of travel.

They both have passports and birth certs.

What's the process for exiting?, are they classed as an overstay? if so what's the fine and where do You pay it?.

Thanks.

Beyond a certain time, I think 6 months or so, you have to pay a fine.  That needs to be paid in immigration.  Or you could let the visas finish and that would sort out the need for a fine.

I have just spoken to Immigration.

You just have to go to immigration office at the airport Gate 3 second floor, with your boarding pass. They will open a file and you're good to travel. No fine.
