Single status work visa with dependent

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to enter Bahrain as a single mother. I have a job opportunity, however, I would like to take my dependent child with me. Myself and my partner were never married and he is named on the birth certificate.

Does anyone know if it is possible to obtain a visa for a dependent as a single parent?

Thanks and grateful for any advice available.

@Bon82 Hi dear,

Usually, the authorities would ask for the marriage certificate along with the birth certificate of the child while applying for the visa.

In absence of a marriage certificate, you would need an NOC from the father or custody documents from the court. These would need to be attested by the Bahrain Embassy in your home country.
