Passport expiry

I have a doubt regarding passport expiry issue.

Incase one staff went for a vacation to India, he have visa valid till 2023 December, but unfortunately his passport was about to expire and he could not reach back to bahrain on the mentioned time.

my question is if this staff renew his passport in India , will he be able to come back to bahrain, since his visa is valid but passport been renewed in India that is why this doubt occurred .And also since it’s not been updated in the LMRA system will it be effecting the time while he is traveling back to bahrain ?

please comment on this matter.

This is a big issue I think. Because he has visa validity but don't passport validity. I hope someone experience with this type of situation can help you here. Just waiting for an experience person reply.
