I am looking to purchase a Wood turning Lathe in the Malaga Region, although I am prepared to travel further if needed.

The type of lathe required is a mid range model for an enthusiastic turner, not a small hobby machine. A new or secondhand lathe in good condition would be great. I currently have a Jet model JWL1221VS, which is a great lathe, but I now want a larger more powerful machine.

If you can advise where I might buy one, either a company, or a internet site where secondhand machines are sold I would be very grateful to know.

Hey, I just moved to Manilva from Belgium. As a wood Turner I will startup my workshop soon. Where are you living ? Maybe I kan help you finding your lathe.

Hello Paul,

Thanks for your reply, apologies for the slow response, we are working flat out at the moment, sorting things out for the move. We have bought a house with a good size workshop, and I intend to fit it out with my tools and equipment, as suggested, I am not taking my Jet lathe to Andalucía, I want a larger more powerful lathe. I have been in touch with a German company, and may have one shipped to me once I have set up my workshop, as I have not managed to find a supplier in the Malaga region.
