The best way to get a job in Poland is to make your own job. The Poles are infamous for only giving jobs to fellow Poles. I gave up long ago. You either create your own job, or end up in a very low paying job that you are way over qualified to do. That is just the way it is here just like most countries. I know a talented, European engineer in the US that works as a bartender to pay the rent. As I advised my friend, If they won't give you the job you deserve, hang a shingle and start your own auto-cad practice. That will teach them to mess with you my friend. Instead of gaining a talented engineer, they just created new competition .

Thanks for that advice. I guess this is what I am trying to do. By the way how easy is it to register a  company?

Hello elsegee,

This thread is quite old.

I suggest you start a new thread on the Poland forum to ask your questions.

Cheers,

Cheryl
