30 per cent ruling if received offer when in the NL

claumartinezval

Hello,
I moved to the NL from London a month ago. I came here accompanying my husband who was recruited from abroad to work at one the Universities here. I have a valid NL residence permit but have also retained my job in the UK.

I have recently offered a position here in the NL.  I received the offer when I was in the country, so technically I was not "recruited from abroad".

Would this make me automatically uneligible for the ruling?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

You are correct; if you have registered in the Netherlands, you are ineligible for the 30% tax benefit.

Hope this helps.
