Overseas income

Hi, I’ll be moving to Crailsheim in a few months - about an hour from Stuttgart.

Can anyone recommend a good Steuerberater who is familiar with overseas income (income from UK company) I will also be employed in Germany but have a business in the UK that also pays me a wage.

There are two trade associations for German tax advisers:

https://www.bstbk.de/de

https://www.dstv.de

Both have listings of all registered tax advisers, and search forms using various criteria (e.g. location, specialty, language skills). The search pages themselves, however, are unfortunately only available in German.

If you are living and working in Germany, you will have to tax both salaries in Germany. How the UK handles this situation (and whether you will be taxed there again) depeds on the rules there - so you may also need a UK tax consultant!
