Hey I want to ask if I have to leave Germany to change my ausbildung visa to studienkollege visa

You will have to clarify this with local immigration officials and the school. But there seems to be a common misconception about Studienkolleg. This is a place where one does a foundation/remedial program to get their qualifications up to enter a specific university program they have tentatively been accepted to. Like going to university, one has to put currently 11,207 Euros/year in a German blocked bank account to cover living expenses to get the proper visa. It should be the chance for one to get their German level up to the C1 level needed for German taught programs, which the vast majority of bachelors are. But if you are doing an Ausbildung one would expect that you have B2 or at least B1 level German already?

A decison in such a matter can really depend on many factors and sometimes there might be exceptions to some rules. To get a really reliable answer, contact the local immigration authorities!

I was applying for student visa and the timeframe the embassy gave to confirm my interview date has elapsed yet they are saying I shouldn’t follow up. My semester has began and no date in view for interview. What can I do?

@GAY@1234 Theoretically, you could sue them for quicker action in a German court.

Practically, your only option is trying to apply in another country, where the German embassy acts faster.
