Can someone please help me translate this word

Expat1234566

Hi, so i was in a social situation and right after i had done something, can't remember what, a "friend" made a comment in Thai to a few other people, probably assuming (rightly!) that i wouldn't understand. I'm dying to know what it means, and if it was anything negative at all, as her tone suggested it was.

The word was kair (pronounced a bit like 'care') and she said "koht kair", koht being "so/very" in informal or negative situations.

Thanks so much!! Please help me out!!

Try the thaivisa.com forum. I think they have a specific forum there for thai language.
