What a great site! Seems like most expat sites don't have a lot of activity but at least there are quite a few recent posts here. Just popped by to say 'hello' to everyone. I'm an American from Portland, Oregon who has been living in the Czech Republic for about 18 months. My wife is Czech, and we live in Northern Bohemia so I'm not your typical expat in a lot of ways. It's both a plus and a minus that I wasn't thrown into the shark tank alone, with a wife who is not only Czech but a Cambridge certified English teacher, I've been able to be verrrrry lazy about learning Czech, ale jde to.. pomalu.
I don't have any real goals in signing up here, except would love to meet any musicians who want to chat about being a musician in the Czech Republic. Coming from the USA, I definitely have found it's harder to get a gig here when you have original material. I'm still learning the popular Czech pub songs... 
Anyway, ramble ramble - drop a note to say hi, especially if you love music or play music!
