Another change of address question

janemulberry

When the professional seller I bought my house from set up my Bulgarian company, they used their address as the mailing address. Could someone please talk me through how to change that to my address?

Thanks!

I own one of my properties through a company; in 20 years of ownership I've never received a single piece of correspondence from the BG authorities. I'd be inclined to let sleeping dogs lie, unless you intend to conduct any business through the company. 😎

Good advice. Thanks!

@janemulberry

I assume that you have the paperwork for the company, and the Company Seal?  The documents are useful for obtaining a Metro card, assuming that you haven't already got one..

janemulberry

No. When i asked about paperwork i was told its all online. So i printed out the online stuff i could access -- a single page!

But it's unlikely I'll need a Metro card, the nearest store is a long way away. And i hadn't planned to make the business economically active.

@janemulberry

It won't make your business economically active: the card is in your name (even though it does actually show the company you registered with on the card) and any purchases you make in Metro with cash or your personal credit/debit card are yours, not the company's. 🙂

My card is so old that the barcode is only just legible, and the online system doesn't have records that go back that far and refuses to add it to my online profile 😁

janemulberry

Hmm. Maybe I need to find out how to get a card.
