Moving from India to Hanoi

Hi , I am moving from India to Hanoi . I will like to understand accessibility and avavilibity of Indian grocery shops , certain typical Indian kitchen equipment , some good and reasonable places to buy electronic appliances , soft furnishings and crockery . Could you guys suggest a few places .

Welcome to the forum.

AFAIK there's one Indian Spice Mart at 17 Hàng Đồng, Hàng Bồ, Hoàn Kiếm, Hà Nội.
Most basic Indian spices (or their local variants) and grocery items are readily available in most supermarkets. Knowing the VN names of spices may help.

As for electronic appliances , soft furnishings and crockery, supermarkets like Fivi Mart, Big C, Lotte etc. etc. are your best bets. They are all over Hanoi. Nguyenkiem stores are there as well.

There's a FB group for Indian expartiates living in Vietnam. If you have specific queries about Indian spices, kitchen equipment, etc. you may get some genuine leads there.

Difficult to say if ALL are available.  Most are available in big local markets (Chợ). You need to explore those small shops in local markets. Local markets in Ha Noi
BTW, please double-check the VN names with your local friends/colleagues. I just found the list on the net.

I remember on a few occasions I saw one/two medium ones (with long handles) in co-op mart down here in HCMC. You can buy online from tiki.vn.
A different model is popular here.
They call it Nồi áp suất.
