Any urgent guidance to facilitate legalization!?

Hello Folks,

I hope you're doing well

I have a job offer from a company in Hanoi. According to the immigration law, my university degrees, work experience certificate, and criminal clearance letter must be legalized! ๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿ˜

I'm currently living in Cambodia. Is it possible to legalize them at the Vietnamese embassy here!?

Any assistance would help me, or any agents who could wrap the process up quickly.

If you let me know, it would be highly appreciated.

hello

In most cases, documents must first be authenticated/legalized by the relevant authorities in the country that issued them before being submitted to the Vietnamese embassy or consulate for consular legalization.

It may be helpful to contact the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia directly to confirm the exact requirements for your nationality and the country that issued your degrees, work experience certificate, and police clearance certificate.

Surely, the company knows what to do? What advice did they offer?

Thanks for your information!

I'm Iranian citizen and Unfortunately at the moment the Vietnamese embassy is closed due to the current critical situation!

I urgently need an agent who is able guide me wrap it up quickly otherwise I have no idea about this situation how long is gonna continue!

@Bhavna

Yes they all officially authenticated by relevant ministries!

At the moment they just must be legalized by consular or embassy!

Typically when documents need to be "legalized" it means they have to be notorized by the Iranian Embassy in Vietnam and then stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On top of that the document may also need to be translated and notorized by a certified local translater.

Hi, yes man, you mentioned correctly,

Today I went to the Vietnamese embassy in Cambodia, and they also said what you mentioned.

But the big deal is they demand 2 times legalization, even though they already authenticated by the foreign and justice ministry. seems to be annoying stuff.

I appreciate your informative advice.

When you say they need 2x legalization what do you mean? Like double the documents? You will find that when it comes to bureaucracy there is no equal to Vietnam lol. Its one of the things those of us that have been here a while just accept.
