VNPT blocking this website?

dudumomo

Hi guys,

I used to be able to browse Torproject website when I was with Viettel of FPT, but I have changed for VNPT (Forced to, I'll explain one day) and I cannot reach the project anymore.
Not sure if it is just me, or for a short period of time, or else.

Can you try to reach https://www.torproject.org ?

Thank you

The post above yours suggests a technical issue rather than censorship.
I keep an eye on the Vietnam section, seeing nothing on there that would upset the Vietnamese government enough to block the site.

Can you try to access it and let me know if it works for you (And your ISP)?

Thanks

Darwin123

Just use a VPN :)

dudumomo

Hi Darwin,
I want to know if this is an ISP block (country wide, or located) or an other issue.

To by pass this, yes VPN is one way. Changing ISP is another, etc...

Ah, got it. Sorry.

Hello,

Just to clear things are you not able to access only torpoject site? rest of the sites work fine?

T&R

dudumomo

Exactly. Just https://torproject.org
Whereas it works well with Viettel.
Might be some blocks from VNPT I suppose.

Drop a message to VNPT they should be able to give you the exact reason for the block.
