Non immigrant address

Teton

Hi… I recently got my non O retirement visa, but to formalize it I need a “permanent” address to open a bank account. I haven’t fully decided where that will be yet so I’m wondering if anyone knows how to obtain the requisite address that will satisfy the bank without committing me to a long term lease? Thanks for any help you could provide.

I would sugest that you do not open a bank account untill have decided where you want to live.  As having a bank account in a different province than the one you live in will incur a charge every time you use your atm card.

I suggest you open where they help you to do it at first by trying many branches even of same bank so that you solve this first step. Then you can open a end one where you going to live.

Anyway the bank app can manage more than one account of same bank and then transaction are free wherever the branch is located. You can provide a friend's address at first step. Then update it later on.
