Hi ratheesh, ,, lets make a plan. Have u been around?   Next week i was supposed to go to Halcon in Mindoro, but given the weather forecast, i canceled it. Probably I might go to the closer and less risky places like pulag or banahaw. Though some local friends said they might be closed due the bad weather.

i just did my first climb and enjoyed it very much and would like to do more - to start with i would like to do the easier day climbs out of the manila area - my first climb was mount batulao, it took us 2 1/2 hours up an 2 1/4 down - i would be happy to join any group making day trips out of the manila area and i am able to drive and transport 4 to 5 persons - i can be reached by email at afzalraza@hotmail.com - thanks

Thanks for sharing. I just went there last weekend (after canceling Pulag due again bad weather). It was raining when reaching the summit, an 11 yo kid guide was very fast, he took me less than 2 hours to reach the summit:)  As of my plan to Halcon, I just realized Halcon is closed and to be opened next March 2013 , so I might push thru G2 or Mayon (if weather permits). But I will be happy to go to nearby mountains if you will.
