Silang / indang area

Kenvangie

Hi all, nw to this site, hopefully if any expats on here living in the area of silang / indang, I was wondering what draw backs you have found if any while living there?. As my wife and I are thinking of moving from the UK to this region. We would be gratefull of any information. Also if any have firsthand experience with estate agents for this area they could recommend.

Hi,

Silang/Indang area is a good choice, been here 10 years. Proximity to Tagaytay and Dasmarinas are some pro’s.

1.5hr from Manila.

Tagaytay can get packed on weekends and Holidays. Many foreigners hanging out at Fora/Ayala malls. Power hardly ever goes out(Meralco)

Wifi is descent once you find the right provider for your Barangay.

Although, If you don't have ties to the area like family or property, I would recommend Alabang/Muntilupa as better choices. But probably pricier.

If I were able to pull up stakes, I would end up in that area due to better infrastructure,  Closer to Manila, Roads, services etc.

Silang/Tagaytay does have Many good restaurants in the area, couple malls and about a hour to batangas beaches, Taal lake is closeby as well as Laguna hotsprings.

Indang proper itself doesn’t have much to offer, but property may be cheaper there then Silang/Tagaytay.

Not much here as far as real estate agents or agencies, FB marketplace is about as good as anything here. This is what locals use to advertise. There is Lamudi and a few others you can scroll through to try and get a feel for the market. I found our home in Indang on FB Marketplace (2016)

Good Luck on your searching, any other question just ask.
