Dependant visa processing time for Indians

Hello,

I’m waiting for my vdr letter for the Past 2 weeks. How much time does it usually take for the process. It’s been 11 working days today

First the application needs approving so the documents are scrutinised. Then there is the international security check. It takes up to one month to complete the process and be ready to travel with VDR to Malaysia.

Thanks for letting me know, but is there anyway we can track it? The company that applied for the letter said 10-14 days.

The DP approval is from immigration. The VDR is from Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I think I have the MOFA checker link somewhere. I'm looking for it.

@gravitas.. Accor to your knowledge on this topic. What’s the maximum timw it might take for the Vdr approval letter to come? I have booked my tickets for the 24th of aug. Wondering if I must postpone

Well you need at least up to 4-6 days to get the VDR issued so work backwards. I guess you know how to get the VDR into your passport

Well that’s what I thought but it’s been more than 2 weeks I’ve been waiting.. yea I’ve get my visa done from India once I receive the letter which takes up to 5 days!
