Rule of thumb - never send anyone your original certificates in case they get lost in the post, mislaid and then you have the problem of getting them all reinstated.

The company should be able to handle copies. But I would expect them to want them signed by a notary public or commission of oaths, i.e. you take the original and a copy to one of these people and they compare the two documents, and then stamp and sign the copy - you can then make copies when needed in the future.  You will, however, need to show the originals to the employer after arrival in Malaysia, when they apply for your work permit 2nd stage.

So ask the employer if because of concern for the documents getting misland, you will do the above and send them the endorsed copies as proof they are authentic.

Re Housing - is a monetary amount or a room in a hostel?  If the latter, then you wont be able to live there once married, so need to sort out an in-kind monetary value instead so you have freedom to move into a place you select.
