I have no idea about salaries, but I can offer a few tips.

Make sure the driver has a valid SIM A license

If the driver is to use his own car, check the STNK is up to date

Also, ensure his insurance is the same, and preferably has third party cover.

Finally, any interview should include a test drive to ensure the driver actually knows how to drive. Driving licenses are commonly bought by bribe here so having one says nothing about his skills.

I used to use a driver service that I paid idr 4 mio monthly, with Sundays off. Working time 6am-6pm. Extra money idr 50 thousand per day for lunch. Sometimes I would need him to work overtime and I would pay extra.
