Finding a job

#1

Hello everyone,

I am Astijus, and I am originally from Lithuania. I moved to Bali over a year ago, and I am living here with a KITAS. I have a lot of experience in various roles, but I am having trouble finding a job. I used JobStreet, LinkedIn, and other hiring platforms, but no luck. Any advice?

You aren't supposed to be able to get any job that can be filled by a local.

... but corruption, I'm assured,  happens.

The other possible fly in the ointment is your location.  Bali attracts a lot of people so the area is saturated AND immigration is more likely to activity look for transgressions / be more fussy about the rules than other areas of the country.
