Please help me, l need to know

l have a friend that was in hospital he had an accident at his work site, he needed an operation on his leg because of this accident he was there to do a contract at this job in Cambodia, he was in this hospital for about 4 weeks, he is from New York and he doesn’t he health insurance .

what l need to know is that he got arrested because they wanted him to pay his account before he left the hospital, l just want to know do they do this , l thought you get a bill or an account in the next few weeks so that you can pay it . he was going back to his job to finish it off so he wasn’t not going to pay his bill.

please can some one please help me l need some answers.

please help me l want to know if this is true, and what they do in Cambodia .

know he had to pay this bill for his arrest, and they said in 5 days but we were 1 day behind in paying, know they said he is going to jail, please help me

Or send him the money to pay the hospital. They have no reason to trust him, understand it.

Hi Shaper

I am moving to PP early January and wondered if it is possible to get 'accident only' insurance in Cambodia when I get there, as I'm not having much luck finding 'accident only' here in UK? They seem to want to whack you with 'full health insurance' at ridiculous premiums.
