I am also looking for a way of getting a drivers licence in Senegal, I never had one before. What are the possibilities and procedures? Anyone to help, please?

I'm American and I have a Senegalese license.  If you have time and patience, it's worth it to get one.  They last 10 years.

Go to your neighborhood auto school tell them you already know how to drive.  You just want get a license and you'll pay for the class. 

Then don't go until they call you for the actual driver's tests.  You have to take an eye test as well as a verbal test.  The process takes about 2 months because you have to go along with your class for the testing stages.

Good luck, have a sense of humor (cuz u will need it!)  and don't worry - piece of cake!
