@Zohaib191 Don't worry too much about it. It will be a basic DBS check, so it shouldn't show up on your certificate.

@zahidiqbal81 i  served prison time for it to   so it will show up on  everything i guess

@Zohaib191 how long was the sentence? I had one from 2010 and other convictions, nothing showed up on the basic dbs.  Enhanced understandably everything will show up.

It was a 6year sentence, 3 years in custody. i will apply for a basic dbs to see if it shows up but i am pretty sure it will. If it shows I don't mind but i hope that they will not let that hinder my marriage, wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with a recent crime showing up on record  of course it was a mistake and i work hard legitimately

Get ur mrs to get a fiance visa and marry in the uk  thats a easier option

Hi guys I just like some information about marriage in Morocco. me and my wife just been blessed with a beautiful baby boy!

We had our islamic nikah but we didn't do our marriage paper! Due to me being afraid that the vakil might be skeptical and refuse our marriage.

I have few things on my police record check the last one was a sentence for 2 months in prison for dangerous driving that was about 3 years ago 2022.

since then I've been out of trouble and well behaved and just trying to live my life and settle down and be happy with my child and my wife I just want to know we'll they stop us from acquiring a marriage certificate or is it just standard procedure...

Also another thing I would like to know my child was born in Morocco, I'm from the UK. I'm British citizen, mother is Morrocan does my baby automatically get British citizenship through me or would I have to apply for one.

I've registered his birth in Morocco and got his birth certificate and translated to English for the UK authority and sent it off to register him in the UK too.

what is the next step or procedure I have to do to bring him in the UK.

Hi did you get married? Did you have any issues? I’m wanting to marry my finance in Morocco but I have a suspended sentence from 2017 for theft. Were you able to provide them with a basic dbs check?

I only had a normal islamic nikah, usually them kind of marriages unfortunately it's not recognised in Morocco you have to do the marriage registration... I'm just on the process of doing mine but I just have few things going on in UK........ As for the police record if your getting married in Agadir then a basic DBS should be fine from what I've been told by the Adoul, your conviction is minor and it's long time ago I doubt that should come up on your DBS even if it does you'll be fine.

Ah ok great yes it would be agadir that we get married. Yeah I’m pretty sure it will just show as no live trace on basic dbs now as it’s been longer than 5 years so fingers crossed all will be ok.
