Morocco to UK Spouse Visa – VFS Upload Limits & Organisation

Hi everyone,

I’m currently preparing an out-of-country UK Spouse Visa application from Morocco and I was hoping to hear specifically from anyone who has recently applied from Morocco to the UK.

My main question is about the supporting document upload process through VFS Global.

I already have most of my evidence prepared digitally, including PDFs, photos, WhatsApp conversation screenshots, relationship evidence, financial documents, accommodation evidence, etc.

I have also attached a screenshot from VFS Global showing what I believe may be the correct guidance regarding document uploads, but I would really appreciate hearing from someone who has actually gone through the process themselves, just so I can understand how it works in practice.

For those who have applied from Morocco:

How are the documents actually uploaded on VFS Global?

Are there separate sections/categories where you upload individual files?

What is the maximum file size in MB per document?

Is there a maximum number of files you can upload?

Can you combine most or all of your evidence into one large PDF with an index/contents page, or is it better/required to upload separate PDFs under each relevant section?

Are JPG/PNG photos and screenshots accepted directly, or is it better to convert everything into PDFs?

Are there any particular naming or formatting requirements?

I’m asking specifically about Morocco because I understand the document submission/upload process can differ depending on the country and visa application centre being used.

I also wanted to ask about the biometric appointment process. Is the normal order:

Complete and submit the UK spouse visa application online.

Upload/submit all supporting evidence through VFS Global.

Then attend the biometric appointment afterwards.

Or can the biometric appointment be booked before all of the supporting evidence has been uploaded, provided everything is submitted before the required deadline?

If anyone has recently completed a Morocco → UK spouse visa application through VFS Global, I’d really appreciate hearing about your own experience, how you organised your documents, what the actual upload limits were, and how the biometric appointment fitted into the process.
