Sorry to break your bubble but Just because your son is a doctor does not mean he is an expert on the subject or any intelligent than other people.

I am in Uk and only reason doctors are vaccinated because the government has forced NHS workers be it a cleaner or a doctor to have the vaccination just like Mauritius. "No vaccination no job". So really if you check the numbers here around 20% of doctors have left NHS to move to countries like australia where there is no such requirement.

Also most doctors are only in UK because of money, otherwise they would all be in Mauritius, but that is another issue. We will talk in a decade when the side effects come to play. All the best.

I'm not against vaccines, I have had all mine however being pushed to have one without any securities (insurance) is like signing a death penalty blindly.

This is one of the many many channels that are speaking, but it's sad that Mauritius only get info from the propaganda TV which is BBC.

You will not get a reply here because they are scared of the fine government has imposed. Talk about asking you to speak the truth and holding a gun to your forehead. Also do not forget that Mauritius is a small islamd and people really do not question the authority. They do as they are told and most comply.

Can confirm, I had no problem getting the vaccine today as an expat. I brought my passport and Residence Permit, just to be sure. The passport would have been sufficient.

I went to the the Cote d'Or National Sports Complex. The queues were not long (about 25 ahead of me). The process was all very efficient, staff very helpful and the complex is quite impressive.

Thanks Anouska for the post, it really helped. Have been waiting for one of the alternative vaccines to be available again.

Just because your son is a doctor does not make him any intelligent or better informed than others.

Nhs has forced everyone working in the sector to have the jab otherwise no job, so he had no other choice. Please get off your high horse. ALSO HE IS ONLY 30 so really still studying. Doctor is a term used often by Mauritians whereas in UK a GP is a proper doctor.
