Wandlewed

Hello. I would not use a POA for an important and expensive purchase. You should visit and sign the deeds of sale personally to make sure everything is done properly and in your name. Best wishes. - @Tookays I would tend to agree with this. When ... Read More

Hello everyone, I am writing to you about the Animal Welfare Act, which makes it compulsory for all dog owners to have their dogs microchipped and registered with the Mauritius Society for Animal Welfare. See: ...

Wandlewed

Hi, I haven't heard of this before. I doubt if many people have done so. Most owned dogs are kept as guard dogs and so don't go out a lot. Given the amount of stray dogs it would be a drop in the ocean. Read More

Hello, lots of Drs (GPs and specialists) do private work on the side (I'd say most). Hence it's easy to see someone at short notice and the prices should be fairly competitive. You'll see signs outside private residences with their details. For a ... Read More

Wandlewed

Hello Bill,You'll be fine with English in the vast majority of situations, but it would be good to pick up some basic French phrases and, with time, some Creole. To explore the island fully, I would say you need a car, but you can rent for short and ... Read More
