Well, I do repair but need to find the time..
Could you briefly explain the problem and/or symptoms of your TV.. Make how old, etc .

Thanks for replying so quickly.

Its a Panasonic plasma, model # TH-P42G10A, and is about 10 years old.

It turned itself off after a few seconds and the red light flashed 11 times, then stopped.

(I'm not weirdly observant - I noticed this after trying to turn it back on about a hundred times! Then checking Google.)

Google says 11 flashes means a problem with the fan - usually dust.

Well, I live in the north as well..at Plaine des Papayes - in the vicinity of the Anjaley Stadium /Terra sugar factory at Belle Vue harel.

I will have to open it up and check some vital parts and then deduce the exact problem and eventual solution.  I have already made my preliminary conclusion.

Now, the Doctor needs to meet the Patient .. hoho ..
